In association with the BHS approved Holmescales Riding Centre, Hayfellside Barn can offer an all-inclusive, full board riding holiday package.

The package includes two full days, each with a tailor-made itinerary for both the novice and experienced rider. This package is ideally suited to riders who wish to improve their riding or need an extra confidence boost.

The holiday commences with dinner on a Sunday or Wednesday evening, where you will meet your fellow riders. The following morning, after a hearty breakfast, you will be transported to Holmescales Equestrian Centre to meet and get to know your horse. The day will progress as you and your fellow guests see fit - a variety of options are available for all levels of expertise.

For beginners and confidence building

Holmescales is an ideal, safe, professional environment for the first time horse rider and those who have lost their confidence. The centre's trained instructors and staff have vast experience in this area.

For those who wish to improve their riding

Holmescales can offer intensive surgeries for jumping and dressage. Lessons in riding, jumping and course-walking are also available.

For those who wish to prepare for Stage Exams

Holmescales can provide a course on stable management as well as riding lessons suited to this level.

Packed lunches and transport returning to Hayfellside barn are provided. After your day's riding you will return to a welcome hot bath/shower before dinner and a chance to relax and discuss your 'horsey' stories.

After your second day at Holmescales Riding Centre you will be transported back to Hayfellside Barn for afternoon tea before departing.

Guests aged under 16 must be accompanied by someone over 16 years of age.

Safety is a priority for the Riding Centre. The horses are well schooled and are allocated according to the rider's ability. The centre holds public liability insurance, however, accidents can happen and you are advised to ensure adequate personal insurance.
